Brief bio: 

I have taught English for Computer Science, Telecommunications and Business Science at university of Extremadura, Spain, since 1995. My Ph D dissertation (2000) was about finding a lexical common core in different disciplines related to Information Science and Technology in order to operate with defined divisions of lexis: semi-technical, technical and grammatical-rhetorical in these areas of ESP (see my article in Language Learning & Technology volume 5, number 3). My present interests lie in establishing practical connections between such corpus-based information and the exploitation of tasks in my ESPcourses.
